On a chilly and foggy morning in New Delhi, an elderly man travels to work wearing warm clothing. The India Meteorological Department has issued a cold wave and cold day warning for much of North India. Due to the dramatic drop in temperature, the education authorities of several states have issued directives to keep schools closed.
